Thanks, I hate it

Today, I finished a painting I'd spent 3 weeks working on for an exhibition. When I came back from lunch, my cat was perched above it on my desk. He looked at me, then down at the painting, then jumped down onto it. He slipped and smeared the wet paint everywhere, ruining the whole thing. FML

Pets, kids, guests, earthquakes... anything could have ruined your painting. I own pet cats as well and I'm smart enough to keep things I deem important where cats can't get to them.

Why would you let your cat in the same room as a painting you spent 3 weeks on?

That's why cats get long drives on country roads where they are left!

If you have a cat you should know never to leave anything out that can be broken, spilled, or otherwise destroyed/lost. Don't ever leave glasses of water, rings, plants, etc within reach.

If I learned anything on FML, it's to NEVER GET A CAT!!!

Or maybe he added his artistic ess display ! :)

Cats and artwork don't mix. Find a room you can keep your cat out of and store your work there
