Stellar performance
Today, I was being interviewed for an amazing job when I was asked what animal I would describe myself as. Trying to be prompt, I picked the first thing that came to me. I responded with, "I'd be a turtle because I'm really slow sometimes." FML

I would have gone with panda, so that they know you're not racist.

You weren't prepared. There are numerous articles on modern interview techniques, used by many major companies. These techniques have filtered down to all sorts of businesses. There is purpose to these seemingly odd questions. Read up on interviewing skills and be better prepared in the future. Good luck.

It's not about being prepared, it's about being about to think on your feet. Lots of job interviews ask non-traditional questions to gauge how the interviewee responds

Am I not turtley enough for the turtle club? Turtle. Turtle.

I'd say a dolphin. They are beautiful, intelligent, graceful, and they work amazingly well in teams (pods). They multitask efficiently, they put differences aside to get things done. (They rescue humans and other animals including dogs and sea lions with no problem). I also consider them highly intuitive and spiritual. That would be my answer.

Dolphins are also good at gang-raping anything that swims.

I knew someone would bring up the rape. Thanks!

Repeat after me, (first, lean in and look intently at the interviewer) "I find being human is animalistic enough for me."
