Spelling is hard

Today, I finished a 50-page term end thesis essay on the history of Russia. Looking over the final requirements once more, I find I made just a tiny little mistake. It was supposed to be a thesis on "Prussia". The paper's due tomorrow. FML

Today, I'm supposed to hand in my Master's thesis. I only very vaguely remember my enthusiasm of six months ago, but remember clearly that - this time - I was planning to start in time and avoid last-minute stress. Seeing the sun come up at 5 a.m. tells me that it was a tad too optimistic. Just ten more hours to go… FML

If you are gonna write 50 pages on anything its good to read the assignment carefully. Plus im assuming teacher conferences for a 50 page paper are almost a given and dont you think it would have been pointed out in that time?

maybe it could count towards extra credit. don't feel bad my freshman year i had to do a 8 page book report which i spent the whole day doing the day before it was due. only to come to class the next day and find out my teacher had a heart attack so the assignment was canceled becuase they had to find us a new teacher. and half the class never even did the assignment because they didn't care enough.

"Don't feel bad"??? lol No offense but your situation is not nearly as serious as the OP. An 8 page book report is very different from a 50 page thesis. Also, you waited until the last minute to do it. 50 page thesis essays take longer than a day to do. And your teacher had a heart attack and the assignment was canceled which means it would not have affected your grade. However, a 50 page thesis on the wrong topic will affect a grade. While I'm sure your heart was in the right place, you can't possibly know how the OP feels. And OP, mistakes happen, but with an assignment that serious, you triple check the requirements before you even type a word. Still....FYL

A heart attack and misreading the directions are two completely different things. Your story doesn't relate to the OP's in anyway.

Oh my god.. I feel for you SO MUCH. I would break down. Sorry, but I still pressed YDI. Did you not ONCE, while writing, look over at the requirements sheet and read "PRUSSIA"?
