There's nothing wrong with putting your make-up on when at work. I do but I put my make-up on before anyone arrives at work. As for your boss, ouch. Surely he wants you to look good for clients, so he should understand that you're doing your best, but go to the bathroom not the backroom next time.
Your boss probably didn't want a secretary he'd feel tempted to **** on the side.
maybe if you would do your job rather than your make up your boss would not be a dick,
Makeup tends to just make people look worse.
Unless you had wasted an excessive amount of time while at work, that was really mean.
This site proves that there are a lot of assholes out there...
Well that's not so Would you really like to have you hired only because you look good? But anyway, there was definitely a girl that applied and was better looking than you. It has nothing to do with how beautiful you are, it's just statistics!:P PS: I agree with #48, make up sucks.

lmfao, DAMN.
Well to be fair that was a bit too flirtatious if you don't have a relationship with him outside the office. But that was a huge slap across the face, FYL. Look at it on the bright side, you could always get back at him about his smarts later on. He left the door open. ;) PS I feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I see there's no "FIRST!!" comment.
