Sorry for ya OP but if you felt that way from stress that's called a panic attack or might have even been a anxiety attack as well, I would advise you to go see a doctor it'll help 😀
1) Stress like that can be dangerous, depending on the individual. Nobody deserves that. 2) On the other hand it seems obvious that OP is simply not up to their work responsibilities if they cannot keep track of the keys. Children or childish adults lose their keys and do not think to begin looking for them until they are needed. Responsible adults do not lose the important things in their life. Responsible adults have routines to make sure they have important items with them or know where they are. If you are prone to losing things put them on a chain around your neck if need be.
