A “crush” means absolutely nothing to the person who knows nothing of your crush on them. So your friend did not “betray” you because there was no romantic involvement to betray. Take this as a learning experience - If you have a crush on someone then speak up and tell them of your feelings. In most cases you might be turned down but you might have a chance they might reciprocate as opposed to wasting endless time on a “crush”. Learn to ask the person you are interested in out on a “date” instead of just acting like “pals” and wasting time on crushes.
