Today, my mom insists on leaving both the front and kitchen door open in case the cat comes home, no matter if it gets cold inside. Yes, the cat is that important. Yes, he also has a cat flap. FML

This makes me glad that although my Mom loves cats, she’s not an idiot. Seriously, Mom leaves the doors open for the cat? Amazingly bad idea on several counts - not the least is you could get unwanted wildlife or humans coming in.

Lol "move out". For all you know OP is like... 14. Also, sure if mom had the windows open because she likes fresh air I can see the 'put on a sweater' thing. But leaving doors open? Strangers could just walk in, nevermind more dangerous wildlife than a housecat...
