this may sound harsh but if you have so little sex (while your wife officially seems to be up to the idea of even having another child) than theres a 99% chance your wife as is is not really happy in her situation, sorry but unless theres some external or at least very acute reason for not having sex than that is a redflag for the state of the relationship. the absolutely last thing that will make this better in the long run is another child. People allways go for extra children believing it will magically make them happier with themselves and fix their relationship problems and all but that just won't happen. sit down with your wife, have an honest talk, reflect deeply (both of you) and try to get the spark back that for whatever reason seems amiss right now, but don't drag a child into this, it won't fix whatever is bothering your wife, it will only make it worse

You are trying for another baby. Your wife is saying she's trying for another baby. See the difference?

Why? Not why once in 7 weeks but why another baby? If it's "another" it means you already have at least one. Enough.
