Today, my cat looked like it was about to puke, so I put him outside. Unhappy with the situation, he leaped on to the kitchen window ledge and squeezed in through the open window, only to projectile-vomit mid-leap all over the kitchen counter. I found a hairball in the butter. FML

I find it much easier to just put something under the kitty to catch the puke, like a bucket or bag you can throw away. If your cat allows it, you could hold them over the toilet for an easy clean up.

Honestly, it was kind of cold of you to just throw your cat outside like that. Why not just put it over the tile or the sink?

I don't really have much sympathy for someone who not only seems to have just dumped their cat outside instead of keeping an eye on them, but also calls their companion animal an "it." I've never seen good pet owners refer to their furred family as "it," regardless of context.
