Today, my Tinder date seemed annoyed that my offer of dinner at my house really was an offer of dinner, not easy sex. Apparently, acting like a real woman with a mind and feelings, as opposed to a hole for his penis to temporarily inhabit, completely ruined his night. FML

Today, I went out on a first date. He was funny, laidback, and handsome. We had an amazing time but I declined to go back to his house, not wanting to rush things. He said he understood and respected my choice. Later online he bragged about “banging some cheap slut for the price of a meal.” FML

After dinner, he confessed that he's been seeing another woman and has decided he wants to seek a relationship with her. He then told me how sex with me is great, but he didn't want me to continue being "the other woman." FML

Today, a woman turned up uninvited at my house, ready for our first date. After some embarrassed investigating, it turns out my mother signed me up to Tinder and arranged a date, all without telling me, because she refuses to believe I prefer solitude over dating. FML

Today, after I met a girl on Tinder I would very much like to date, we finally arranged our first date. As I rushed to my car in my best suit, I had a flat tire. The trains had stopped running, and a taxi to that distance was easily £200. She accused me of being a catfish and blocked my number. FML

Tinder is pretty awful sometimes. It's a hook up app and that's exactly what guys are there for. It doesn't occur to many of them that maybe we would like to get to know them a minute and feel safe. I did meet my amazing boyfriend on there though so it's not ALL bad. I make it pretty clear I'm looking for casual but ongoing and spending some time with me is expected.

They could've been chatting for a while on an app. It happened to me a couple times to be invited over to a girl's place the first time we met, or for her to come over to my place. Doesn't change anything to the fact the guy's a unredeemable a**hole.

He definitely is, but most advice on online dating I've seen stresses meeting in a neutral, public place. When OP had gone home without having sex with this guy she'd have ruined his night without the effort of catering it.
