Girl, run. He endangered your literal job instead of having a mature conversation about his feelings with you.
Take the time you need to ensure your safety when you break up with him.
So you dumped him right? If not, this FML can turn into a YDI
Auto-Dump reason #427
He. Deliberately. Harmed. You. Now that he knows he can get away with sabotaging your life, he'll do it more. Run.
I notice a typo in your post. There's no "ex-" in front of that "boyfriend". Like, this is extreme jealousy leading to irrational paranoia, or an abusive tactic to try to control/limit your ability to maintain your financial independence. These aren't mutually-exclusive possibilities, for that matter. Either way, get yourself somewhere safe and rid of that asshole.
You mean EX boyfriend, right???
cake and a present for your coworker does look a little sus. but your boyfriend was still way over the top unacceptable and if you're still with him you need to RUN
@Crowned Sataness - No, it isn't sus. They're *friends*. I've made birthday cakes for one of my male friends, and my partner was fine with it because he trusts me. OP's (hopefully now ex) boyfriend has serious trust issues.
