Today, my kid shot a Nerf dart at our TV and broke the LCD screen. We have at least 11 days of coronavirus quarantine left and no TV. I don’t think we’ll make it without killing each other. FML

Today, my four year old got mad that he couldn't find his favorite character on the Wii. So, he decided to smash the Wii remote into my $700 LCD TV, shattering the screen. That was the only TV in the house, and the $80 service plan I bought doesn't cover accidental damage. FML

Today, I bought myself a brand-new 52" flatscreen. It was only in my house for 2 hours before my toddler had a tantrum, threw a toy right into the screen and wrecked it beyond repair. I paid to have a nice TV for 2 hours. FML

Today, I purchased a brand new television. Not long after the professional who hung it on my wall left, it came crashing down on my hardwood floor. I'm now left with a busted TV, a tear in my living room wall, and a severely drained bank account. FML

Today, I was diagnosed with COVID, and given a week off work to quarantine. When I sat down on the sofa, my girlfriend slapped the remote out of my hand and handed me a list of chores, "to do while you're lazing around on vacation." It's four pages long. Double sided. FML

Today, while playing ping pong, my brother got mad that he lost and threw the paddle at my head, causing me to fall backwards into the TV mounted on the wall. Now I have a concussion and have to pay to replace the TV. FML

Now Jr. will have plenty of time to come up with feasible ways of earning (incl. turning turning over to self any gifts of money) 'til he's paid for a new, better LCD TV ESP. with all that "free time" being grounded to his room - even past quarantine - aside from reading the many classics in literature AND writing well-constructed, reasoned book reports. You can take the kid outta skool, but ya better not keep him from book learnin' good, practical thing-a-ma-bobs for his future in academics; that's called responsible parenting. Lol

Every place that sells electronics in my area is offering curb side puck ups for online ordering. Last I checked, delivery drivers are still considered essential so a new TV can be delivered, you just won’t be able to have them bring it inside. I just got new games for my PlayStation delivered

Can relate...my husband and I moved yesterday and then found out that we might not have cable or WiFi for two weeks. Sadly, I think we’ve got a lot more than 11 days left of this quarantine...
