Good girl

Today, my dog started limping as we were walking home. I thought she'd hurt herself, so I picked her up and carried her home. Once we arrived, I put her down, at which point she ran around and played as if nothing had happened. I fell for my lazy dog's plan to get me to carry her home. FML

My dogs get hurt all the time (from playing) and when they walk they will sometimes limp, but the second they see a toy it's like "what injury?!" dogs know what they want and go for it, screw the pain. The same can't be said for us sadly. Anyways, you're dog wasn't faking I'm sure, just when she got home there were toys there that were enough of an incentive to ignore the pain. My dog has gotten a gash starting from the underside of her paw up half her leg because she dives through bushes blindly chasing after balls through the woods, but it didnt stop here from staring at me and begging me to throw it again or running just as fast the next time I threw it (before I noticed it. Luckily I didn't throw it far at all and it didn't go in the woods). The only time she limped was after she knew we were headed back inside.
