Today, I found out that my company used a nice photo of my coworkers and me for their corporate website, in efforts to make their office seem fun and relaxed. This wouldn't be so bad if they hadn't just fired every single person in the photo, myself included. FML

Today, at work one of my co-worker was oddly nice to me; and my boss, who usually always says hi to me, didn't look or speak to me. Later that day I found out that I was going to be fired, not because my boss told me but because my picture was missing from the wall of employees. FML
Today, I got a screenshot from my former supervisor's Instagram that stated, "Finally, I'm rid of these morons at my work." That's how I found out me and other workmates had been laid off. FML
Today, I was doing a presentation in front of my boss. On the last slide, someone had put a picture of a man's cock. I later found out it was my boss who did it. It was his "good reason" to fire me. FML
Today, I found out my boss and some employees on my floor have bets placed on who can get the best picture of my ass. I found out when one of the pictures was accidentally sent to me. FML
Today, I was fired for telling a customer's kid to shut his mouth. As revenge, I sent the CEO a picture I acquired months ago of my boss drunkenly pissing on a cow. He wrote that it was the funniest thing he had ever seen, and that I am "clearly an insufferable killjoy; a total liability to the company." FML
Today, at work, I accidentally walked into a meeting at which the whole company was there but me. The meeting was about how they could legally fire me while paying as little severance as possible. I'm the CEO and the founder of the company. FML

@9: You do need consent to use photos for advertising purposes, but with pictures taken in the office or at company events consent is already implied. Some companies go so far as to add consent clauses to their employee hiring paperwork so no one can complain about their image being used for corporate promotional purposes. So there is probably nothing OP can do about the picture. UNLESS the picture wasn't taken at the office or at a company event. If the employees just got together after work and posted their group pictures from dinner to facebook, the employer could get in trouble for using personal photos without permission.

Theyre technically using the photo for advertisement purposes though sooo maybe a stern legal approach would work? That or I know the canada and the states there are websites were you can review your employer.

Unless you signed a contract/agreed to let them use the photo. Then you can sue for using your photo to draw in business without your permission.
