Today, I'm nearly done with my cortisol treatment for a persistent multi-day migraine. Good news: it actually stopped for the last two blissful, pain-free days. Bad news: apparently anything less than the maximum dose of cortisol doesn't prevent me from getting a new migraine. Here we go again. FML

I used to suffer from migraines till I realized I had a shit ton of allergies to different ingredients and medications and food you're going to probably have to do what I did and experiment get to really know the ingredients and what you take in your body get the list of a thousand things that causes migraines and start whittling through the list until you figure it out took me a couple years but I eventually did it

I have botox to treat migraines. Check into it, it may work and many insurances cover it

I feel for you so much. I use Botox now but I had to go through a lot to get to there. Like the other commenter said, I found out that I had sensitivity (triggers) to many things and have to avoid them like the plague. I also have to take a daily regimen and have a rescue medicine in case one starts and I can try to stop it. I am now down to under 10 migraine days a month instead over 20. Hang in there! It's a lot of trial and error but there a few new drugs out and I am sure things that haven't been tried yet by your neurologist!
