Today, I had a miscarriage. My partner doesn't understand why I'm upset, saying, "It wasn't even a real baby yet." FML

I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my son, Patrick, at five months into my pregnancy (I went into early labour), 5 years ago. It’s something that a whole lot more women than we realize experience and yet still seems taboo to speak about. They were very much real to you and so were the dreams and aspirations you had about being their mom. I hope you reach out to some of the women in your life and find real support.

your partner is an ass. end of discussion. I am very sorry for the loss of your child. seek out support groups either online or that are safely meeting. I hope you find your path to healing physically and emotionally.

I'm so sorry 😞 I've been through it as well and it's so heartbreaking. do you have anyone you can reach out to for support? I found writing a letter to my baby helped a lot, that and just allowing myself to grieve for as long as I needed. you are not alone in this, and I know it probably feels like you're in this bad dream that you can't escape but I promise as time goes by things won't feel as heavy anymore. also a neat little thing I read a while ago, is that the DNA from your baby is now ALWAYS going to be apart of you, so in a way a tiny bit of your baby will always be with you ❤

This might be a sign. is he really the one who you want to have kids with? I lost my first child long before I met my wife and she always remembers the date

you have good reasoning and a good wife for remembering the important things.
