Drunken antics

Today, my dad got extremely drunk, so I took away his car keys and left on foot. When I came back, I saw that he had broken down my door. Now my dad is mad at me for not giving him the keys when he was drunk, and I'm door-less. FML

If things like this are a regular occurrence, may I suggest talking to someone about help if you are not old enough to move out? Or a support group? Maybe both. I hate ones like this because they shouldn’t happen to anyone. Reach out to friends. I took an adult friend in who was stuck in a position of living with an abusive alcoholic parent. You’d be surprised who cares enough to help, even if it’s just to give you a weekend escape from it.
