Today, I got a letter from a hostel I stayed at saying they were going to sue me for leaving them a negative Google review. I was the victim of a $7000 theft crime there. They refused to call the police and ambulance when it happened, and they didn’t even give me my money I paid to stay there back. FML

Sounds like you stayed at a hostile. If you are carrying around $7000 worth of shit, why didn't you spend the money on a proper hotel?

Sounds like you stayed at a hostile. If you are carrying around $7000 worth of shit, why didn't you spend the money on a proper hotel?

Maybe O.P. was staying there while in the middle of a multi-city/country voyage? Sometimes people spend a night or two in one location before moving on...? Not that unusual, especially for leap year students!

The mismatch seems strange to me. Hostels are for those on a really tight budget. You'd think someone who travels with $7000 worth of stuff would spring for more upscale lodging.
