Today, I was driving in my very own car that I bought and paid for myself, when I stopped at a stop light. Then I noticed the truck in front of me turn on his reverse lights. I honked desperately. He hits me, looks out the window and says, "I see no damage" and drives away. FML

pro?ceed??/v. pr??sid; n. ?pro?sid/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [v. pruh-seed; n. proh-seed] Show IPA –verb (used without object) 1. to move or go forward or onward, esp. after stopping. 2. to carry on or continue any action or process. 3. to go on to do something. 4. to continue one's discourse. 5. Law. a. to begin and carry on a legal action. b. to take legal action (usually fol. by against). 6. to be carried on, as an action or process. 7. to go or come forth; issue (often fol. by from). 8. to arise, originate, or result (usually fol. by from). –noun 9. proceeds, a. something that results or accrues. b. the total amount derived from a sale or other transaction: The proceeds from the deal were divided equally among us. c. the profits or returns from a sale, investment, etc. there, now people can carry on and 'proceed to' (aha sorry couldn't resist) use 'proceed' in the correct context, rather than using it in every fml to make themselves appear intelligent =]

84 - I had no idea you could read the minds of the people typing these out. see also: psychic

People like that deserve to be chased around and bashed like how you do in a GTA car chase. They are bastards.

12: at a stoplight, there could have been another car behind OP. how would backing up or getting out of the way even be possible?

#12 you're stupid honestly. there could have been another car behind him which would have put him at fault if he hit him/her. The first thing anyone would probably do is honk, honk and honk.

Agree with #1. OP - Did you really need to use the word TWICE? "I honked desperately" "drove away" Don't try to impress us.
