Today, I was driving in my very own car that I bought and paid for myself, when I stopped at a stop light. Then I noticed the truck in front of me turn on his reverse lights. I honked desperately. He hits me, looks out the window and says, "I see no damage" and drives away. FML

haha this happened to a friend once... people need to quit saying "proceeded" in every fml its really annoying

Hope you got his license plate number

maybe your insurance can pay for the damage

Sounds like it's imprinted on the OP's front bumper

Wouldn't have mattered. Insurance would say she was stopped to close and it was her fault. I've seen a car ram into the back of a stopped car at which point the stopped car got pushed into the car in front of them, the middle car got blamed for damage to the front car for "not stopping a safe distance from the car in front of them"

1) write down his plate number 2) call the cops End of story

You probably should've followed and bear the hell out of him. I mean...he might've shot you, but it would've been a worthy cause.

Has happened to me. There was no damage, however they didn't just drive off. That's messed up. Hopefully your state required insurance.

Hold on... Some states don't require insurance??? I ****** hate Illinois....

'very own car'? Hey, you're a boring **** with unnecessary details in your FML!

Good thing you got your very own insurance you paid for with your very own money to go on your very own car!
