I have to hide my toilet paper behind the towel (the towel bar is above my toilet paper holder) just to prevent my cat--who will be 5 next month--from tearing apart the toilet paper. Luckily she doesn't bother with the stuff on my shelf. Get some toys for the cat and encourage her to play with those instead. Also get a scratching post.
