My wife and I have very different likes and dislikes in movies. When we were dating we’d sort of take turns picking a movie, but try not to choose something we knew the other would dislike. That’s a way to deal with different preferences in movies. Later sometimes we went to a multiplex and one of us watched one movie and the other another… No matter how close a relationship you have there is always going to be differences in your personal tastes. It’s just a movie, don’t make this the make or break item in your relationship…
She called it shite. Like a classy version of shit. So she’s not an idiot and she said it was shite. You stepped in it; I just don’t know if you should have known better.
The Avatar franchise seems to be nothing more than a showcase for CGI technology. I've never heard anyone saying anything about the story or the characters in either movie. People like shite.
Just because you have been waiting for it for ten years doesn’t mean that she was going to enjoy it, or that it was going to be good.
i have good news and i have bad news. the good news: at least you have a decent taste in women...
Had she seen the first one? Did she like it? Did she even want to see the second one? Did you consider her feelings at all or just drag her there? We need more information. If she willingly went and didn't put up a fight or mention no interest in going, it's her fault. If she said she'd rather not go and you made her, YDI.
