Today, I learned for the first time it's possible to love your children, but not to like them at all. I learned this from my own dad, who told me he will always love me, but he never really liked me much, so now that I've moved out, he doesn't see much reason for us to see each other anymore. FML

No, he's lying. If you get irritated with your kid from time to time, that's one thing. But if he's never liked you, he's never loved you, either. Now, you're just like the rest of us who don't have a dad.

I love how you just make assumptions that he's lying. It's completely possible to love someone you don't like. I don't like all of my kids, but I love them and would do anything for them. Same thing with my sister. Your assumption is the only thing that's a lie on here, and not helpful at all.
