Today, I got to meet the guy that I have been talking to over a dating website. We were having a great time, at least until I managed to randomly fall asleep in front of him. I spent the rest of the day sending text messages trying to explain to him that I suffer from narcolepsy. FML

Running late

Today, I woke up very excited because I was going on my first date with this guy I really liked. I dressed very nicely and went to where we were supposed to meet. I waited for about 2 hours. I called him to ask him where he was. He got angry because he was still sleeping and I woke him up. FML

Today, after not being able to sleep for two hours because my boyfriend wouldn't stop talking, he fell asleep and I was left wide awake. I listened to him snore for another three hours and only got a couple of hours sleep. He's not working today, but I am. FML

Today, I drove over 3 hours to hook up with a guy I've been talking to for a couple of months. When we start having sex, he lasted less than a minute, and then couldn't get it up again afterwards. I slept uncomfortably the entire night on his twin bed while he snored. FML

Not that he should have any problem with it cuz that would be shitty, but it would definitely be nice to know ahead of time if your date is going to fall asleep on you lol

Try to assure him it isn't contagious (some people are that stupid) I hope you have been able to contact him and have another date And like others have said, if he isn't understanding, he's probably not worth it!

Don't worry, I'm sure if he liked the first date as much as you did he wouldn't have minded too much :) Especially if you have a medical condition. People get too scared about these things, first dates don't always have to go absolutely perfectly for you guys to end up happy together :)

I've got narcolepsy too! Based on the way you worded this post, it sounds like he got angry at you or left while you had a sleep attack? And then you had to explain it a lot to him? If that's the case (correct me if it isn't) **** him lmao. Even the people who know about my condition are concerned and a lil worried when I fall asleep. He has no business being annoyed at you for something that a) you can't control and b) has nothing to do with him anyway
