Today, I'm the only grandchild who regularly visits, calls, and runs errands for my grandparents, even though I live two hours away. I'm also their biggest disappointment because I'm not married. FML

Today, my grandmother gave me rosary beads for my birthday. She told me I'd better start praying for a husband. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend of two years has a beautiful daughter. That's cool, except she's one year old. FML
Today, my wife and I decided to celebrate Christmas Eve with her side of the family. When we arrived at her parents' house, I heard her mother say that Christmas miracles don't exist since my wife brought me along. FML
Today, I went to my grandmother's house to pick up her cat to take him to the vet. She forgot who I was and sprayed me in the face with pepper spray. FML
Today, I told my grandma my boyfriend had cheated on me. She told me that it was my fault for not straightening my hair, and for gaining a few pounds. FML
Today, I was insulted and harassed by my sister and her boyfriend, all because I proposed yesterday. They were angry I might get married before they did. They have known each other since primary school; I met my fiancée earlier this year. FML
Today, as I was planning my impending nuptials with my fiancé, my sister jokingly told him it's not too late to call it off. He took her seriously and bailed. He won’t answer my calls. FML
Today, my parents called me to ask if I could drop my dog off to them on Sunday. They're having a Superbowl party and want to show her off to their guests. My dog is invited, but I'm not. FML
Today, I finally started my job as an in-home caregiver. The man I was hired to care for died two hours after I made it to his house. FML

Just go with the flow and ignore it. I am 41, married, have kids, and my grandma still thinks I am gay, all because I didn't care about girls when I was a teenager. As long as you are happy with your life the way it is, who cares what the grandparents think.

If I've learned anything from rom-coms, it's that hiring an actor to play your husband will result in marriage. You should start taking tips from movies. It's guaranteed to work.

If you don't want to get married now/ ever that's fine. But if you ever DO want to get married you are automatically their favorite and you will get the most money when they die.

Sounds like they wouldn't miss the visits, and you could safe yourself a lot of time and hassle. Although, depends on whether ot not you actually enjoy being around them, or if you're just dojng it all to be nice to them.
