Today, we were having a family dinner with my boyfriend's parents and mine. In the kitchen, when we were getting the food ready, he proposed. I screamed. My dad thought he was hurting me, came in and tased him in the leg. FML

Today, my boyfriend came to a family barbecue. I guess my dad heard him talking about the "fun" we'd be having later, because over the next two hours, he tripped my boyfriend up on concrete, threw a beer can at him, and sprayed him full-force with a water hose. All "accidentally" of course. FML

Because that man didn't take two extra seconds to actually check out what was going on before he went all Rambo on OP's BF's ass. Just because someone might be in danger doesn't mean the whole "shoot first, ask questions later" combo always works out for the benefit. That's how fatal accidents happen when you don't want it to under some situations with that type of reaction. Hopefully OP's BF got tazed at low voltages and didn't get seriously injured.
