Today, I met my new boyfriend’s parents, hoping that they would like me. They made subtle, mean comments during dinner and made me feel like total crap, all because my boyfriend left his ex-wife for me. They don’t get that we’re both good and compatible for each other, and that’s what matters. FML

No, what matters is you home wrecked a marriage. The best you can ever hope for down the road is tolerated, you will never be liked and never considered a member of the family. For the time you're there, because if he cheated on his wife he will cheat on you.
