Totally deserve it, mind your own busniess when it comes to personal stuff like that
I don't even know where to start with this comment. Did you really just say that? What the hell does an excessive water bill (that the daughter isn't paying) have to do with showers being personal business? You make me wish I could hit the thumbs down button more than once.
Well, honestly, if the problem is that your daughter doesn't know that you have to pay for the water extra, you should have told her. It's not as if this knowledge flies in her head one day and don't be immature and try to get her outta the shower with nasty tricks, that'd only make her mad and it's not really her fault that she didn't know.
Hahahahaha you have to pay for water? Yet an other reason BC rules and Ontario blows!
I guess there's a lesson learned on both ends here. FYL for having a wasteful daughter but YDI for not educating her on bills and adult responsibilities. Just thought I'd also add that where I live, my water bill actually is included with my rental fee, so OP really should have made her daughter aware of their living situation.
This reminds me of Bridget from 8 Simple Rules.
Replace the detachable shower head with one you can't detach, OP.
Let her pay a bill and then see how she feels about her shower length.
Just do what my mom used to do, bang on the door and yell until she gets out. Or invest in a shower timer.
