Today, while at work, a man came up to me and screamed that I was the devil's child, pointing at the tattoo on my wrist the whole time. I just stood there while he prayed for my soul. FML

It was the one on my left wrist of a butterfly and flowers. The other one is a dolphin and flowers. I was unaware that butterflies and dolphins where evil. They were for my Mom and Step-Mom.

He is probably confused by the Old Testament where it says you should not mark your body in honor of the dead (not sure how people translate this to tattoos). But screw that, the same verse also says you can't eat shrimp, homosexuality is a sin, you can't wear polyester, bunnies are an abomination, you can't shave your beard, and you can sell your daughters into slavery... If you quote one, quote them all...

Maybe the restriction on homosexuality was a health concern, like the restriction on shellfish. Nowadays we have good condoms, and our lubrication technology is much safer.

People like that are so ridiculous. They act as if they're sinless. It's one thing to have faith and it's another to push it down someone's throat. Next time do a tribal chant or sing the intro to the Lion King with your eyes closed.

That's when you say, "Judging someone is the greatest sin of all! You're stealing Gods' spotlight! That's HIS job!". In all seriousness, I am a Christian. Southern Baptist to be exact. But I am not a 'Bible thumper' in any way, shape, or form! People like that are a disgrace to the Christians! When they act that way, they are going against everything they preach and believe in! Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, has a right to judge another person. We are all equal! No matter the circumstances! If that man is, truly, a Christian, he'll have to take this up with God one day. And he will have nobody to blame but himself! Back to laughing at FMLs now! Yay for FML! :D

98 - totally agree where you're coming from. Not to get all serious, but there is a verse that says that before you comment on the sawdust in a person's eye, you have to take out the plank of your own eye. Yay FML! it's my daily dose of LOLs. It''s genius, pure genius.
