Too bad your parents would rather watch Red Neck Racing then go to your wedding. Maybe they were worried that they wouldn't be able to find you wedding because they would have to make a right turn to get there.. Or maybe they all still mad that you didn't marry your cousin like they wanted. You should have told them that you hired a banjo player for the reception and had free moonshine.

If that is the way they are actually going to treat you, you are better off not having them there. Even if it hurts that they blew you off. Don't let it ruin you and your husbands day. You'll be surrounded by the people that actually care. Have a good time, and I hope everything works out for the best. =) (Just make sure that that is actually true though before you make any rash decisions. Since, it is your 'step-mother'. Talk to your Dad, alone, instead to get all the correct information.)
