Today, my sculpture, which is very important for my art grade, fell from my desk and broke to pieces. My art teacher suggested I soak the parts in water to make it easier to stick them back together. They dissolved. FML

Do you have time to remake it? If not your art teacher should understand. She was the one who suggested you soak them in water.

ur sposd to soak em in water by putting paper towels over them to get em wet not actually put it in water... common sense

Sounds like your art teacher just wanted you to get a bad grade. Why not just use glue to piece it back together?

Maybe the teacher said to get the pieces wet, not drop them in the water and leave them overnight.????

I'm very sorry :(! Something like that happened to me except it was a plaster model for science class and it fell and cracked into a billion pieces.
