Today, my roommate asked me to lock the door as we left our place. I told her to use my keys, because my hands were full. Afterwards, she and her boyfriend set off out of town for the next couple of days. She forgot to give me back my keys. FML

Good thing I checked that someone had already said this because this is what I was going to say. YDI OP for asking for them back the second your roommate locked the door. Though she should have given them back as well but they're your keys.

This reminds me of the time I lent my car to a friend but forgot to give him the key. It happens to the best of us. Just crash at a friends place, no biggie.
