Today, due to being stressed and overwhelmed by my tasks, I made a mistake and completed a few of my colleagues' tasks as well. When I informed my boss about it, he said that I did an outstanding job, but I shouldn't have messed with other people's documents. As a result, my promised raise is cancelled. FML

Today, my boss reached a new low when, after three software upgrades, she refused to let me update the user manual that I wrote a year ago. She has also cancelled the training sessions I set up to help people learn the new software. People are asking me why I'm not doing my job anymore. FML

Today, my boss threw me out of her office during a conference call for daring to correct her. The client fired the company because she subsequently got all the information on the call wrong, and plainly had no idea what was going on. From all the screaming, this is now all my fault. FML

When I was at school, the design tech workshop had one of these buttons just underneath a window. It was affectionately known as the bum button, because at least once a week, someone would lean against the windowsill - usually to chat to whoever was using the sander - and trigger the emergency stop with their arse. Everyone who used the workshop was warned about the bum button repeatedly, it never did help.
