Today, my friends and I had our Christmas party. I ended up being the only one sober, and had to drive each and every person home. There were 15 of us. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, after my work's Christmas party, everyone got so drunk that I had to help one of my only sober co-workers take everyone home and clean up vomit. FML
Today, all my friends had a huge party and 'forgot' to invite me. They only remembered about me at 2 am when they called asking for rides home because they were all too drunk to drive. FML
Today, I went to a party with 5 of my friends. Within five minutes, they'd all paired up and gone. Then it was just me, drinking my pain away. FML
Today, it's my 21st birthday. All my friends showed up at my house already drunk, so I had to be the designated driver. FML
Today, I was the designated driver. It was also my birthday party. FML
Today, I was the designated driver. On the way home with my drunk friends, they decide to give me a beer shower. I swerved, and was pulled over by a cop moments after. I was the only one arrested. FML
Today, I went out drinking with my friends. Being safe as we were a little intoxicated, we took a taxi back. The cab driver was also drunk. FML
Today, I'm the designated driver for a Christmas party I wasn't even invited to. Not only do I get to watch people have a good time, but I'm also supposed to not get involved in the party. FML
Today, I was the only sober person at a bonfire. After being hit in the eye with a snowball, taking people's keys away because they were too wasted to drive, making sure no one died and stabbing the bottom of my foot with a nail, I got to sleep in the snow. Without any blankets. FML
Today, I tried to leave a rowdy Christmas party early. The apartment door creaked loudly, someone asked where I was going, and suddenly I was explaining my schedule to 10 drunk people. I stayed another hour to avoid more drunk people telling me to, "COME ON, STAY, HAVE A DRINK." FML

You did a great thing OP. You kept them off the roads. That very well could have saved lives, especially with 15 people drinking/drunk

This isn't really an FML at all. Think of it this way, you saved 15 peoples lives. Well, you at least made sure their lives were safe.

That's awesome of you...and next time, make sure you have a stack of pillows and blankets about so you don't get stuck doing this again. I hope they realize how lucky they are to have you!!!!!

This is why I stopped going to bars. I don't like to drink, really, and hate being cramped in a noisy bar. Might make me seem like a curmudgeon, but when I have people over to drink we always make sure they have a ride home. If they don't, we have air mattresses and a basement for them to sleep off the drink. Not saying I have a better system, but your friends should really have better foresight when they drink. No one leaves my house drunk and they put their keys in a box by the door.

Hey, I posted this and now have an account, thank you for making my post a success!! And just so everyone knows, nobody remembered it in the morning haha, and I stayed sober because I knew everyone was going to want to drive home, and I didn't want my friends getting hurt :)
