Today, my boyfriend of 3 years finally proposed to me at the park we first met in. As I was about to say yes, a huge fly flew straight into my mouth. I ruined the moment by choking on it and eventually spitting it out on him. I think he's rethinking the proposal. FML

Hey goofy love is the best love there's no such thing as perfect. Plus if there was it would be boring. I'd chose a goofy relationship over a "perfect" relationship any day

Together for three years and you think hes gonna rethink a propsal because you spit on him? I really wouldnt worry about it because he would have to be a huge asshole to do that...and if he is that much of an asshole.mom.you don't want to spend your life with him. Its a little ridiculous that youre together for three years.....and the worse thing that's happened is getting spat on.

I guess the old folks were right...keep your mouth open and you'll catch flies. Anyway, if you explain it, he should forgive you. You've been together for a while, so there should have been past experiences like this. Hopefully, the two of you will be able to laugh about this later as an old couple.
