Today, my boyfriend of 3 years finally proposed to me at the park we first met in. As I was about to say yes, a huge fly flew straight into my mouth. I ruined the moment by choking on it and eventually spitting it out on him. I think he's rethinking the proposal. FML

I don't see why he can't just randomly propose again at a different time, it could be more romantic the next time, maybe LOL, then that's your proposal story & that way the first time he TRIED to propose is just another funny story you guys share

Explain to him the situation and hopefully the proposal is still on. If he truly loves you enough to propose he also loves you enough to understand what happened. Best of luck OP.

The proposal is off because a big flew in your mouth? Tell him to grow the eff up. What's going to happen when you're sick with the flu and is coming out both ends? Or when you're pregnant with no bladder control and you pee yourself moving the wrong way? If he is rethinking bc of this, you need a better man
