Today, I was walking down the street when a police officer started walking behind me with his dog. I sped up and tried to cross the road. He took this as suspicious and got the dog to take me to the floor. I've been afraid of dogs since I was 5. FML

Today, I was walking my dog when a lady approached me, commented how beautiful she was, and asked to pet her. I obliged and next thing I knew I was pushed to the ground and maced. She made off with my dog. The police is unable to locate them. FML

Today, I took my dog for a walk. He became friendly with another dog, and I reached down to pet them both. Suddenly, an old woman ran up to me and whacked me with her cane repeatedly. Apparently, her previous dog had been kidnapped by a woman who looked a lot like me. FML

Today, I got pulled over by the cops for swerving a lot while driving. I tried to explain that my dog bit the back of my neck, but as soon as I opened my door to show him the bite marks and the dog, he ran out of the car. I still can't find him. FML

Today, I went for a walk. I was repeatedly barked at, and almost attacked, by nearly a dozen dogs. I have cynophobia from being nearly killed by violent untrained dogs on several occasions, so just hearing a dog bark gives me severe heart palpitations. I'm not kidding when I say I almost had a heart attack. FML

Today, I was walking my dog when I tripped on the leash, dropping his treat bag. He snatched one, looked at me, and ran full speed in the opposite direction. I had to chase him for three blocks, yelling his name. He thought it was a new game. FML

Today, my boyfriend has severe dog phobia, and a dog off its lead ran up to him in a car park. He panicked and tried to jump into the car, but the door hit it in the head and it started fitting and seizing. About three people called the police and the dog's owner broke our car window. FML

13 you're an idiot. The OP shouldn't have ran. That's how cops get hurt by not taking actions of others serious enough. Most of the cops motto i know is i am making it home tonight and if you want to try and stop me im stopping you. He may have overreacted a bit, but OP shouldn't have picked up their pace.

65 you're an idiot. no cop ever got hurt by someone walking away a bit faster. also, walking a bit faster can have a thousand reasons, as we see, so he could have asked first. a cop's job is not pushing people around with no evidence or reasonable suspicion. it's exactly this kind of cop that gives them their bad name.

Get a dog or two. Ive been bitten twice by a neighbors dog and a stray, and my dogs are the only reason I'm not scared of them. Something like a lab or beagle. Just try not falling in love with one.
