Today, I was on my way home when I saw a cop hiding behind a Budget truck. I immediately slowed down and prayed that he wouldn't give me a ticket. Then I realized I was walking. FML

wow. that's just ridiculous. i have never mistaken what action i was performing... SHIT, i forgot i was typing. i thought i was consuming a burrito. good thing i remembered what i was doing. hmm. yeah that doesn't happen as far as i know.

Not to those extremes, but I have forgotten what I was doing in the middle of doing it. I've found myself holding a bandaid and rubbing alcohol and wondering why before I realized I was currently bleeding all over the floor, or holding a toothbrush and not remembering if I was about to brush my teeth or if I already had. People do get distracted in the middle of stuff by random thoughts or brain farts. That said, while I can see forgetting where you're walking TO, I've never actually forgotten that I was walking.

You must have done a lot of driving recently to get mixed up, but it's normal to zone out, I can go walking the dog and get half way round our route and not know how I got there just because it's so automatic to me.

That happened to me once in highschool hahaha. I was spaced out at the end of my first class when the bell rang, then next thing you know I was in the middle of the hallway on my way to my second class and I didn't even remember getting up and walking XD.
