Today, I was in a store when a child looked at me and said to his mother "look at that tall man!" His mother replied "he's an evil giant isn't he, darling?" I then mimed being an evil giant to make the kid laugh. His mother slapped me. FML

Today, at the mall my brother and I went to look at a vendor's items when my mom said not to touch anything. Thinking my brother was standing next to me, I saw him touching stuff so I smacked him in the arm and told him to stop. I turn to see that the old lady to my side was giving me a mean look. FML

Today, I was eating at a restaurant in town, when a small boy started looking at me. I simply smiled and went back to eating, only to hear out of the corner of my ear, "Daddy, why does that kid's face look like that"? He said it so loud, the three tables next to us turned and looked. FML

Today, a bratty kid at Walmart called my mom a "fat bitch" when she wasn't walking fast enough for him. Enraged, I gave him the meanest death glare I could muster and I tore him a new one, right in front of his mother, who then defended her kid, saying that my mom and I should both lose a few pounds. Today, I was out grocery shopping when some pervert decided to slap my ass as they walked by. As I turned around to confront them, I saw that the culprit was a 7 or 8-year-old boy. I was so shocked, speechless and angry that I couldn't even decide how to handle the situation. FML

Kids aren't exactly known for making quiet observations, so I doubt this was eavesdropping. The kid says something out loud within the OP's earshot; OP recognizes himself in the description and turns around to see if it was, indeed, him being talked about. That's not eavesdropping; anyone would do the same if they thought they were being talked about, especially if it's about an obvious or unflattering feature.

I really don't get how people can think you are wrong.. WHAT on earth is that mother teaching her child??????? sheeessshhh you can't go saying nasty things about people to your kid, how mean, poor kid it's going to grow up to be SOOOOOOOOOOO polite and respectful.
