Today, I realized how invisible I am when our professor was showing us that he knows the names of all the students in our class. When he reached me, he just smiled at me and skipped to the person next to me. I took 3 courses with this guy yet I'm the only one he didn't know the name of. FML

The only reason you would be invisible is if you do nothing to put yourself in the light. FYL and YDI

Instead of pretending you didn't exist the professor could have swallowed his pride and asked instead of making you feel like nothing.

I get it. I had a class where the teacher never picked me to participate, even if I was the only one with their hand raised. even went as far as to say, "really? no one?" a few times.

Two years ago, I was in a class where the professor calls the girls by her name but never called us by our name. He calls us by "hey you"

Sorry but You teacher thinks you're a loser poor boy

OP's grammar sounds perfect to me. Now it is likely he will make a point of remembering your name. That's how it happens with shy and discreet people, but also in lots of other situations. It often takes something out of the ordinary for people to fix names into their memories. So when I m new somewhere I make a point of introducing myself first before raising an issue or discussing any point one a one to one basis rather than wait for the opportunity to arise. People are grateful for a chance to be reminded of names , and when they know who you are they find it easier to address you rather than someone else.

Give a bj, he will remember you after that.

My geometry teacher cold calls kids and I struggle with math so I try to keep under the radar. She always mixed up my name with another kids until a week or 2 ago so in my case that's not bad
