Today, I'm recovering from a brain injury that occurred a few months ago. The newest challenge I'm facing is thinking the floor is moving any time there is a change in colour or texture. My house has patterned tile floors and carpet. FML

I am still recovering from a brain injury myself, I was in the hospital for a month, the best thing to do is stay strong and positive Keep working and always believe in yourself and your bodies ability to heal. I believe in you!

I get that feeling with some of my dad's pin-stripe shirts. They make my eyes feel weird.

Some older patients have a similar problem with white coloring. Makes you think there is nothing there and you'll fall forever. Medical field teaches you all kinds of strange stuff.

i want to know where you had your injury. i would like to know what you damaged

I'm wondering how 889 people think this op deserved his brain injury!

My husband is recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury and he used to always feel like he was walking on a boat. The good news is a TBI will continue to heal for the rest of your life, he no longer feels the floor moving. He went from me changing his diapers and being blind, to functioning at about 75% and being able to work AND drive again. Hang in there, it will get better.
