I didn't take it to be an insult, but a descriptor. Sort of like identifying someone as "the white (or black, blonde, tall, etc.) Anne", or "Jesse the boy" doesn't necessarily make you racist or sexist. Actually, one could argue that in this scenario, OP's the one with the possible prejudice by considering this an FML. I personally wouldn't go that far, because it does suck to have people assume things about you. But it's not like she's known as "the ugly one."
