Today, I found out I'm allergic to soil, pollen, dust, mold, the colors green, yellow, orange, black and grey, most metals, wood, carpet, drywall, most hygiene and beauty products, and plastic. Basically, I was told to avoid the entire planet and everything man-made. FML

Chemicals known as pigments make up the material composition that causes certain types of light to reflect. So probably a reaction to a common pigment in paints, dyes, stains, etc.

When we were kids my brother was told he was allergic to green... turned out he wasn't.

With that many reactions to an allergy test, I'd want to double-check the result and consider alternative explanations. Thinks like the skin prick test can give false positives for a number of reasons.

Some allergies can be cured. My mother used to swell up every time she touched any product derived from pine trees, now the worst she gets is a runny nose when they're pollenating.
