Today, as a learner driver, I embarked on my longest drive ever: back home, from Sydney to Melbourne, which is around a 700km drive. I managed to get the whole way without any problems. I crashed into my driveway. FML

You jinxed yourself. It always happens. /:

Them's be the the rules of the road. Something terribly wrong has to happen to your car while on a road trip.

Statistically, 90% of all accidents occur within a few miles of the victims home

Blame it on a kangaroo named Jack.

Could of been worse... Think bout it!!:)

I drove all the way from Sydney to Adelaide didn't make a scratch and only had to call road side assistance 3 times!!

I can just imagine OP sweating, white knuckles, like he's landing on an aircraft carrier... Pull up! Pull up!

Aww OP my sympathies! I too am still at the learner stage and I'm totally capable of that kind of accident as well.

You don't have to be a learner to get into car accidents.

The key words to her comment were that kind of accident. Im assuming that being 25 and in Sydney that your a fully licenced driver Misspenny? Have you crashed into your own driveway recently?
