Today, an old friend and I reconnected. Everything was going fine until he threatened to visit me at work. I didn't know he knew my place of employment, so I replied, "Do you know where I live too?" He answered, "Would you hate me if I did?" FML

Today, I was driving and someone was following me across the city and wouldn't let up, so I drove past my house, thinking it was a stalker. Eventually I lost them on the highway. It wasn't until I'd gotten back home that I remembered that my 'stalker' was a coworker I'd invited over for lunch. FML

Today, I went to the store and ran into an old friend that I hadn't seen in years. We chatted a little, and just as I was leaving he grabbed his mobile phone. Later, I added him on Facebook. Turns out the last thing he posted was a picture of my back saying: "Look who got even fatter." FML

This is creepy. But it could depend on how much information you have on social media (if you have any). When nothing is private, you can find a whole lot of personal information on places like Facebook.

This. It's not hard if you post photos of where you live and what you do and geotag them as default. People are always doing background research on others before they meet them; girls especially pretend they don't know you, but they know what's going on.

This always surprises me in CSI type programs as I wonder who always has location left on on phones, and who geotags photos and adds locations everywhere including home in Facebook, often public no less?! Maybe it's an American thing?
