Today, after two years of vigorously fundraising on behalf of my senior class, they voted on spending the senior trip money at a waterpark. It's less than thirty minutes from where we all live. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I went for a soak in a mineral hot pool to relax after a stressful day teaching middle school. There were 120 middle schoolers there on a school trip. FML
Today, after planning 4 months in advance and spending almost $600 to cover everyone's tickets to the event center, all of my siblings decided to bail on my 30th birthday celebration because driving 3 hours is too much. FML
Today, it was our class field trip. I got five dollars from ten different people because they wanted me to sit away from them. FML
Today, my friends and I planned to go to a waterpark together. However, due to a "miscommunication," I, and only I, was given both the wrong time and the wrong meeting place. I spent three hours sitting in a parking lot in little more than my swimming suit. FML
Today, I spent 65 dollars in cab fare and skipped half of my grade 12 classes, including a unit test, to see my girlfriend on our two year anniversary. I arrived just in time to see her kiss her other boyfriend of over a year good bye. FML
Today, I came home after spending the past two months at summer camp, just for my parents to excitedly announce that I'm going to be spending the next two weeks in Florida with my grandma. We have to leave in literally a couple hours. FML
Today, I checked my bank account that I've been saving money in since I was a kid for college. I have $100 left out of the $10,000 I had last month. Apparently my parents thought buying a pool and an HDTV for themselves was more important than my college education. FML
Today, my mother informed me that we are no longer taking my graduation trip to New York. Instead, she and her group of continuously drunk friends are going to Vegas because, "We could win the jackpot and take you on an even bigger trip to New York!" She's never won anything in her whole life. FML
Today, I graduated from Basic Training. I was really looking forward to seeing my family after being away for almost three months. They decided not to come to graduation because they didn't want to spend the money to travel here. They live 30 minutes away. FML
Today, my mother "borrowed" money from my stash to help pay for her vacation to the Dominican Republic. The same trip I'm not allowed to go on. FML

At least you get to go to a water park. My senior trip was going to a park for an afternoon. A public park, that was a block from my high school....

If you want to blow the money, come up to Wisconsin Dells, the Water Park Capital of the World. Maybe there is not a single park as big as Schlitterbahn, there are a few big ones and lots of small ones.

that is kind of inconsiderate of your class because some of the gals may be on their periods and it is not fun for anyone if they bleed all over the rides. Also your class are a bunch of idiots because you probably raises more than enough money to go to some where nicer,like Spain or something. It is like having a hundred bucks and getiing a mcdonald's dollar menu cheese burger.

awww that totally sucks!! im in junior high.and my graduation trip is at fun town this year but not splash town. because of the girls bathing suits all of the little junior high boys would get boners. teachers always think ahead! and this year we cant go on the great cities tour. its a week long feild trip to a bunch of different states :(
