Today, after not showering with my boyfriend in 3 months, he called me in to the bathroom and asked me to shower with him. After getting excited and ripping my clothes off, I get in and he asks me to wash his hair. FML

One of the biggest misconceptions, showering with your partner is mostly just that. One person standing back in the cold handing the other one shampoo and conditioners and what not.

I think there is bad communication happening here. Try the blatant approach and tell him you miss the passionate and loving showers you used to have. He may not be aware of how much you like them and that they make you feel closer to him.

After a year of living wth my boyfriends parents, we finally got our own place and I thought he's be all over it. Nope. He took one shower with me after 7 months of begging and he hasn't seemed interested since. Sorry OP, I know how you feel.
