Today, I found out I’m the “smelly girl” in the office. Now I understand all those passive-aggressive subtle comments about hygiene and showering made by my coworkers, and why a bottle of Dial body wash randomly appeared on my desk one day. FML

Olfactory fatigue. If you are constantly bombarded with an unpleasant smell, you'll soon become unaware of it.

As someone who don't care much about my own appearance, I won't judge. But, I must ask, how tf did you not know that you smell?

Not only do you stink, but you don't know what "random" means. There is a definite cause-and-effect relationship to explain the unsolicited gift.
