Adultery actually isn't a crime.
Well, in the U.S. it can be very much a crime. It is illegal in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, New York, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. Wisconsin specifically results in an up to $10,000 fine and/or up to 3 years in Jail.
It is a crime if they’re minors.
