Scorpio rising

Today, my boyfriend was complaining of a scorpion sting on his leg. I told him to stop whining and get over it. Later, as I went to sleep, I felt a sharp pain in my arm. As I flipped on the light, I saw a scorpion crawling over the blankets. Now my entire arm is numb and I can't stop crying. FML

Actually, in places like Texas, scorpions are as common as spiders. The solution is to have a lawn, cause they don't walk over grass.

Really? Because I live in Florida, and I have a lawn, and I have had scorpions in my house.

Actually, you should have a lawn inside your house, then there wouldn't be any scorpions. The way you're set up all the scorpions have been naturally corralled into your house. Of course, this all depends on the assumption that scorpions don't walk over grass.

then again, lawns in the desert are illogical. It just brings up a huge water bill, much more expensive than it is in other places. Since every bit of water here gets sucked up very quickly anyways, scorpions in arizona are much more poisonous than in texas

I guess it's quite scary to have part of your body go numb, one time I had to have a probe stuck down my throat and they numbed it first and it felt so weird... That might make someone cry
